I am extremely impressed with this radio! I have a paid pandora account, a large iTunes library, and a broad music interest. This radio pulls everything together in a great package. The sound is surprisingly deep for such a small unit, and the interface is very easy to use (at least once you figure out how it works).
Once it was connected to my wifi, it has not had any problem at all with connection (even on the opposite end of the house and one floor above the router). I've seen a couple reviews stating the connection was a bit flakey, but I'm going to say that the problem for those users could be the router, because I just don't see it.
This radio does NOT come with a battery, so for now, it's tied to the wall. Logitech's site shows a battery pack is coming in late Feb (but it's mid-March now and still not available). The list price on the battery pack is underwhelming, but hopefully that comes down. Really the lack of a battery is the only thing I can complain about for this radio. It is a solid all-around performer for everything else I was wanting.
If you are a pandora junkie and/or have a large music collection on your pc, this is a great radio to pull it all together when you're away from the PC. Of course there are thousands of internet radio stations (almost too many to choose from--thousands of stations and 6 preset buttons). Highly recommended.

Hi, I have tried the Squeezebox outside of the US. Make sure you use a VPN to connect to it or the content will be severely restricted due to the fact that it checks your IP and detects your country. The only way around this is to set up a VPN connection.
The radio sometimes has a hard time reconnecting to the source you have saved. I have had to search for a favorite after having assigned it to a button before, because it couldn't find it by itself. The radio sometimes locks up so I needed to unplug it from the power source and restart it.
Overall I would NOT recommend this radio to users in general and especially to users outside the US.

I read LOTS of reviews on Amazon before deciding to go with the Squeeze Box for my first Internet Radio. I'm glad I did. Set-up takes all of a couple minutes. I'm 125 miles from my favorite radio channel (620 AM Los Angeles), but they broadcast on the "Inter-webs", so reception is SUPERB. The earphone jack allows me to play to a "Rocketfish" wireless speaker system. Which means I can play this station in two different rooms. You can listen to your favorite Country music being broadcast from a station in Texas, or your favorite classical music coming from St Louis.
Internet Radio is a cool technological advancement in radio itself, and the Logitech Squeeze Box takes advantage of ALL of that technology.

I originally had planned to buy wireless speakers that could be connected to my computer, but opted for the Squeezebox. It was easy to setup and I love the "remote control" feature that allows you to control the device from the Squeezebox website. There's a number of applications that you can use to add Pandora, Rhapsody, internet radio streams, or play from iTunes on your computer. The sound quality is fine, but don't be expecting a home theater system. My only complaint is sometimes I have difficulty connecting to my wireless network or computer.

This a great little radio. Setup was very easy and the interface is easy to understand and use. The choices of internet radio stations is endless and easy to find something you like. There is a nice selection of apps including Pandora. Playing my music off of my computer is great in any room of the house.
