I really love the way this netbook looks but I can't stand the click pad. I end up jumping to a different part of the page when I try to hold down the clicker to scroll.
I am sad I didn't go with the 10v instead because when I installed Windows 7 it slowed down a lot and the RAM in this model is soldered in place so it can't be upgraded.
If I could upgrade the RAM and use a mouse all the time then this would be an awesome computer but as it is I won't be buying another one.

My computer had to be serviced, what a good time to upgrade Right? Not, sold me Ram that is not compatable with my machine. Now I have spent just under 4 hours on the phone, talking to 6 reps 2 managers over 4 days and still can't get my lousy 86 dollars back. The last rep who wouldn't let speak to his manager told me 8 more days. STAY AWAY FROM DELL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You have been warned.

If you are looking for an easy carrying and really mobile laptop and the caractheristics of this Mini Inspiron suit your needs this is the best option you will find in the market. Definitely recommend it. Highlights:

i purchest this on april 16 2010 it works ok as far as it goes however beware of falls advertising as this has your not going to upgrade the ram you are stuck there is no memery slot it uses a2in1memery bord the ram and proseser are combined on this bord i checked with dell there is no upgrade so enjoy the one gig of ram it is all it will ever get

We bought this unit to take along on a two-week driving vacation.
We found wifi easily in the majority of places we stayed, and this netbook served us well to check news and weather and keep up with emails while on the road. Easy to set up and use.
