The taste was fine but it did not survive shipping well. Some of the drink-boxes were leaking or had leaked out completely.

Great real coconut young coconut taste. Not the usual overwhelming sweet taste seen on other coconut water canned drinks. Good on the environment. Made in Brazil. Even better. You can really taste the fruit labelled on the product besides the coconut water taste

I tried the unflavored Vita Coco a while back and really liked it, so I have since tried other flavors (Pomegranate Acai, Pineapple, Mango & Peach), and so far, have liked them, but some more than the others.
COCONUT WATER SEEMS TO BE HEALTHY
To start off with, I've been researching coconut water, and from almost everything I've read, it seems to confer health benefits. While I'm not a nutritionist, it seems to be well-established that coconut water usually has significantly more potassium, and less sodium and sugar than most sports drinks. You can compare the labels of Vita Coco and other popular sports drinks for yourself if you don't believe that...I did :-) That being said, this seems to be a great summer drink since it is very good at hydrating you.
THIS IS NOT THE BEST FLAVOR
Although I'm a big fan of Vita Coco since I like its taste, I am not the hugest fan of the Pomegranate Acai flavor! Since Amazon sells this in 12-packs, it might be in your interest to try the variety pack, or perhaps buy just one at your local store before you commit to a 12-pack just in case you don't like the flavor. My favorite is the unflavored one, but I'd heard very bad things about it. In the end, flavor is subjective, even if I didn't like this one as much as the others, that doesn't mean you won't!
A note on the flavors from my experiences with the different Vita Coco products is that it's not overwhelmingly strong. Some people say it's a "watered down" taste, but I wouldn't necessarily say that, I'd say it's more of a subtle hint ;-) I personally don't mind since I drink this primarily to rehydrate after the gym, but like I said before, perhaps buy a single box instead of a 12-pack to experiment with the different flavors. Again, flavors and preferences are subjective; while some say it's watered-down (and I say it's subtle), some people I've talked with like the flavor so much they pour the beverage into ice trays and serve as ice cubes with drinks! I wouldn't recommend that, at least with the Pomegranate Acai!

For anyone looking for a healthy alternative to the current slew of electrolyte replacement drinks on the market - you have just found your holy grail of thirst quenchers. The drink when served ice cold is extremely refreshing and healthy at the same time. I love the fact that is has 15 times the potassium of other drinks on the market but is completely natural. Vitacoco has no sugar added so someone looking for an extremely sweet experience will be let down.
As for the previous reviewer who said this flavor tastes like watered down tomato juice - I just don't taste it. It has a hint of pomegranate and acai flavor but the coconut water still comes through clean and strong. He was probably just not expecting the taste you get from coconut water - which granted is different - but look at the state of health overall in this country and you will agree different is just what we need!!!
What more can I say - all natural coconut juice with no preservatives or additives and a hint of real juice flavor. Delicious and refreshing.

the package arrived as a disaster. One bottle of beverage completely leaked out and the original box and the package was watered and damaged. The UPS guy told me he knew something was wrong and suggested me to contact seller. I checked inside and some bottles showed greenish spots like some kind of mold.
I haven't tried the beverage. No need.
